The Solent LEP is a partnership between the local business, political and academic community with a vision to create an environment that will better facilitate economic growth and private sector investment in the Solent area, allow businesses to grow, become more profitable, greener and enable new businesses to form and prosper.
Engagement with the business community is essential to achieving this and, at the Solent LEP launch event, a consultation session was held. During this session, links to sources of innovation and new ideas emerged as a core principle that the local business community see as essential to encouraging business growth.
The Solent LEP is therefore supporting this year’s Collaborate2Innovate event – and shares the belief that the event can provide a forum to create the key links required to facilitate growth.
Members of the Solent LEP board will be at the event to introduce the LEP to attendees and provide an update on the work that the LEP has undertaken to date. There will also be the opportunity for attendees to engage directly with the LEP board in a question and answer session.
